I logged into litespeed and wanted to attempt doing the HBL homework, but I couldnt find chem or chinese assignments. Anyways, I was utterly surprised to see the private messages! Look at the date and time it was sent. Yup, I used to use litespeed during my primary school days. Hi Izzati, the girl who used to sit beside me :D

This post is slightly overdue, but nevertheless I shall still write and post it!

9 March’12 Friday, last day of term:
It was JJ’s inaugural road race! Unfortunately I reported to school later than usual. Of all days, it had to be today for me to come late. As a result I lost my opportunity to participate in the competitive category. But it was okay, all I lost was getting a number tag and a position tag upon finishing the race.

The competitive girls rolled out first, followed by the competitive guys. When they were all back, it was time for the J1 guys to show off what they have got. Well, they don’t exactly have much to show, perhaps how amazingly fast they could walk. If I’m not wrong, quite a mass of people walked throughout the 4.5 km. I can’t be sure because I was at the front most of the time, running as fast as I could, stopping as little as possible. In the end, I came in 14th and was proud to be the first Owens guy back. I really pushed myself all the way to the end, for the horrible feeling after completing the race told me so.

I felt a great sense of achievement having completed the race. I rewarded myself with a bottle of mineral water, a cup of H2O and a slice of banana.

Later in the afternoon, I had lunch with my classmate Trang and her OG mate at Mac JP! Those macspicies always burn my tongue and stomach. But nevertheless, I love it.

At 4 O clock I met up with Xinyi and Emilie and 40 mins later we caught ‘Hugo’ at Shaw Building.

I really enjoyed watching ‘Hugo’, the scenes were breath-taking, really beautiful. The light-hearted sound tracks and perfectly good English made the movie great. Did I forget to mention the extraordinary storyline? I could not predict the ending of the movie nor how it was going to progress. Thumbs up. However some may find it slow and draggy cos it ain’t an action film.

After the movie, Emilie left and we met up with Shankkar and Weiqing for our Sc team member dinner. By the way, I got into sc!

We had dinner at Orchard ion and spent quite a long time chatting. My journey home began at 2130 hr.

Home late.

I went to a physics seminar ( Fluid Dynamics ) with Xiaotong and zhuoxuan in the astar research centre. The building is like a cool, especially the ‘ball’ theater that is build in between the 2 buildings.

Went to watch ‘Ghost Rider Vengeance’ with Jacelyn, JQ Rocka and Ben Lua! Today I met many people, firstly I met Happysweet at JP, then on the way to causewaypoint so coincidentally saw Giem Teck boarding the train. At cwp, suddenly Syafiq saw us and approached us. Last night I drew my demand and supply graphs till 1230 and slept at around 1 am. However surprisingly I was quite awake in school! I slept at none of the lectures I attended today, gladly including math and economics.

For PE, Mr Sufian took us out for a 4.5 km jog around the neighborhood which would also be what we will be jogging on Friday, road race. I’m in the competitive category, hope I will keep up with the pace! I need to push myself beyond my comfort zoneeeee!

Coming back from the run, we were all drenched with perspiration, it felt gooood!

Towards the end of the jog, I found myself having an increased stamina, I could effortless take longer strides and not feel too tired. Why is this so? I wonder.

2 March 2012, Friday:

Jacelyn and I went too watch Coral Reef Adventure at Science Centre, Omni Theater! It was awesome! Far better then even 3D! The visuals were great too, however someone still fell asleep~ *knock*

Anybody still have such classic monitors?

After watching the documentary, we walked around looking at the space exhibitions.

Sister sent me to Kranji and surprised me with a collage before I bade goodbye to her. (Actually somehow Im expecting it, cos she told me!)

Today my lessons ended rather late at 0530, considering I only had 2 hours of total break time!

For the first time today, I stayed awake throughout the math lecture! It was quite a personal achievement considering how boring and long the lecture felt like, though you may say 1 hour is short. Being attentive, I absorbed more of what the lecture taught. So gonna be like this during every lecture!

That’s about it, I’m currently in the car! See, I’m utilizing my time wisely, blogging on the go!

29 Feb 2012, Wednesday, leap year.

Today I had a hall rally. Basically we went up the stage as a group and was posted a question. We were altogether given only a short 3 mins to speak. Spending 10s to plan, Rachel kicked started the rally with the introduction.

The J2s were attentive audiences.
We repeated this the second time with the J1s.

Just to sum it up, I was quite nervous and due to time constraint I spoke like a machine gun. Thinking on the feet was proven hard. Really hard in fact. Facing an audience of 800 with no certain answer in mind was a stressful feeling indeed.

Mingsen. While waiting for my turn to speak, I pictured you entering the sc with me, rallying by my side, speaking through the same mike.
